Ministerial delegation in discussion with BETTER Life team members

On Wednesday 27 March 2024, a delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by 1st Deputy Minister Jiří Kozák visited the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. They met with the 1st Vice-Rector of the University and Principal Investigator of the BETTER Life project, Professor Michal Lošták and other members of the project team. The discussion covered topics such as communication of science, opportunities for early career researchers and the concept of European universities. The ministerial delegation then visited the faculty rooms of the unique study programme Tiimiakatemia Prague, which was inspired by the Finnish model and is professionally oriented. The visit from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs thus deepened further cooperation between the government and academia, and its discussions promoted socially engaged research.
