The BETTER Life project took center stage at the 2024 ACEEU Europe-Africa Forum, held from September 18-20, 2024. Representatives from key partners, including CZU, ACEEU, and HELIXCONNECT, participated as part of the BETTER Life consortium, contributing to discussions on advancing entrepreneurship and engagement in higher education.
In addition to participating in the forum, BETTER Life organized a dedicated workshop titled “Synergies in Action Across EU-funded Projects.” This session highlighted the power of collaboration among EU-funded initiatives to drive greater societal impact. The workshop encouraged participants to share best practices and explore new opportunities for cross-project partnerships, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and community development.
The forum, under the theme “Engaged Research and Intrapreneurship for Societal Impact,” emphasized the importance of creating systems where both academics and non-academics can adopt entrepreneurial roles within universities. Participants included global experts, finalists of the European and African Triple E Awards, ACEEU-accredited institutions, council members, and peer reviewers.
Through its presence at the forum, BETTER Life reinforced its commitment to fostering collaboration and innovation, playing a key role in shaping a sustainable and engaged future across Europe and Africa.
